Although the work of Thorsten Sassen generally consists of interdisciplinary approaches, his particular interest for animation never left his creative path.

Through his academic career at Academy of Arts Maastricht from 2022 until 2026, Thorsten made several shortfilms containing elements of animation and videography. What started as 2D-approaches slowly turned into more 3D-based and interactive projects. At his internship at ProXplain in Sittard, he immersed himself in the world of corporate animation together with a small team.
